REBOOT RETURNS!
That's right, ladies and gentlemen. The day we've waited for, hoped and dreamed of has finally arrived. Rainmaker Entertainment recently announced that they'll be re-launching ReBoot, and what's more, that they want our help.
I had the privilege tonight of joining in on a conference call attended by GlitchBob, CC, Al's Waiter, L.Acidophilus, Justice and Julia Cat, along with Paul Gertz and Rachel Dunnet from Rainmaker Entertainment, Matt Toner from Zero 2 Heroes, and others to hear the plans for ReBoot. The idea is that they want to start by going to the fans, and hearing what we want to see happen. Ideas for the show by undiscovered writers, concept art, brainstorming, and pitches will be hosted at the website Zeros 2 Heroes (click on "Help Reboot ReBoot). This is where you come in. The more people register on the site, the more input we can have into exactly what we'd love to see happen in the new ReBoot. As one Rainmaker executive said, "nothing is set in stone!" So spread the word, get excited, because this is the Return of ReBoot.
Check back often for updates, because I will be posting news as it comes (yes, I know it's been a year since I've updated, sorry) and will shortly be uploading promo banners and buttons from Rainmaker.

Painted Windows is one of my favourite episodes. I was watching it one day and thought to myself, "self, someone should really write down all the artsy stuff they're talking about in this episode, y'know, so people can appreciate all the obscure references they make to stuff that few people would actually *get*"... and so I wrote an article. Go check out A (Mostly) Comprehensive Analysis of the Art Historical References in Painted Windows.

This update is all about plugs for some pretty cool projects happening in the fandom at the moment. First off: have you ever had an irresistible urge to travel accross North America meeting every ReBoot fan you could, and interviewing them along the way? That's just what two intrepid Booters, CC and L.Acidophilus have been doing doing all summer. Follow their journeys at the ReBoot Roadtrip website. If their personalities are any indication, the documentary they're making is going to be totally fun and just a litttle nuts.
Another industrious Booter, GlitchBob, has undertaken an effort to contact the voice actors, Mainframe Entertainment, and previously undiscovered Booters, all with the aim of letting MFE know that we're still out there and that we crave ReBoot (or at least a box set). Read about his efforts here.

Go Roadboot!
ReBoot is property of Mainframe Entertainment. Sprite Central is completely unofficial. Bob sadly does not belong to me.
